Day 1:

  • The first attraction thing to be visiting is Wat Phnom, the highest hill and religious building in Phnom Penh city, where the capital taken name from the hill, Phnom Penh was originally named Wat Phnom Duan Penh
  • Wat is meant Buddhism temple
  • Phnom is meant MOUNTAIN
  • Duan was a grandma. and Penh was grandma name 

In other word we can call a Buddhist temple was built on top of mountain at the capital city center  and the hilled Buddhist temple was called Wat Phnom Duan Penh, peoples named the founder of Buddhist temple, and then from years to years slightly turned to Wat Phnom. Cambodia capital is now officially called Phnom Penh. the hill was built in 1372 within the height is Wat Phnom has a total height of 46 meters (150ft)

 

After the visit of Wat Phnom Penh then we are moving to see King’s houses

Next up on the itinerary is a ride to go to at the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda of Phnom Penh, the palace was built during of the colonial time which it’s located on confluence of 4 face rivers

Mekong silk island Known locally or Koh Dach, Silk Island is an island in the Mekong River. Just North of the capital of Phnom Penh, the island between Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changva city and mainland, where fertilised land are gathering, also silk worm plantation is farmed.  

To visit the island is to go insight of the Phnom Penh countryside area, where its about 20 km from Phnom Penh, seem like the island is very separated from capital of Phnom Penh

Mostly, people in the islanders are 70% relied on the silk production handicraft, that is being handicraft. 

it’s an easy day trip destination that offers insights into rural Cambodian life without having to travel too far from the busy city. Named due to its traditional silk-weaving communities, there’s a lot more to enjoy on the island in addition to the chief silk-related activities.

After visiting the visiting the island then we are moving to Udong hill

Udong was one of the Cambodia city, from  1618 to 1866

Currently, the mountain that locally called as Udong is one of the Cambodia’s popular tourist attractions among things to do in Phnom Penh, cause of elegant views and also panorama areas and best view to look the whole city around

Chiso Mountainous Temple

Chiso is one of the Cambodia mountainous area which on top of hill is an ancient temple where was built in 12th century during of King Jayvaman 7th. the mountainous temple was originally dedicated to Hindu gods and now converted to Buddhist temple mainly and still remain Hindu Gods statues
